This book is perfect the internal character conflicts perfectly align with the main conflicts of the books. The main backstory POV of this book is heartbreakingly chilling. Part 4 and 5 are the standouts here but every part does a great job building on top of each other for a perfect and satisfying climax. Part 2 is one of the best building blocks of the entire book especially with the ending of that part. overall this book is a 6/5 for me

Lots of great moments to look back on that were truly surprising. Excited for the future of stormlight.

Like the first book, this one is also filled wall to wall with endless introspection. It is boring, slow, and nothing happens for most of the book. The big moments are few and far between, but they are great when they do happen but it is a long time getting there. If you like reading about what someone’s favorite color is for hundreds of pages, this book is for you. If not, look elsewhere.

Amazing book, as expected when reading Brandon Sanderson, grandparents bought me the hardcover collection and I read it over the Christmas break, was rereading it a few weeks later and left it in the high school band room for five minutes and it was stolen, in the same place my wallet sat for a solid week- guess the 50 bucks I kept in my wallet weren’t as valuable as a slightly worn copy of the book- waited for the rest of the school year looking in the lost and found and searching the room before searching for the book- three stores later I’d bought the entire Mistborn Series and Words of Radiance- 10/5 stars, and also screw Moash

It’s like slowing cooking roast beef it takes forever to cook but the fatty tender juicy meat is worth it to the very end
