Justification is a one time event when we receive salvation and enter into a relationship with God. By nature we are all sinners and in need of redemption. That redemption can only come through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins in accordance with the riches of God's grace. (Ephesians 1:7) Even though we are justified by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ we are still manipulated by our sinful nature, the world, and the devil. For this reason we are to be sanctified (set apart). In this world but not of this world. We are to remain in this condition until He calls us home into eternity. It is a joyful and abundant life our Lord has for us.
