  • Grammar woes

The story is good but the grammatical errors and inconsistencies are astonishing. In chapter 2 it was 10 years since her sister, then in chapter 9 it’s been 6 years. Is she wearing a pearl necklace or not? Tessa is even called Rachel in one scene. It makes the story hard to follow.

Lots of typos. Too much description of trying to build thoughts and feelings driving main character, very repetitive.

Enjoyed the storyline. Would have been much better if a proofreader/editor had read it first.
  • Too many typos!

The story was just ok, but reading it was painful. When I started counting the typos, it was over 30. Completely unacceptable. Hire a proofreader that can read and understand sentence structure. So disappointing.
  • Editor Fired!

The book was filled with grammatical and spelling errors, it made it difficult to read at some points. Add to that the typos, OMG!! Why did the author fire her editor?? The story line was great, but I don’t think I’ll read any more of her books.
  • Disappointing

This book was filled with typos and the author tried to hard. The main character has a medical condition that was mentioned in excess. Decent plot but over a disappointment.
  • What ever happened to checking for spelling?

The book was 100% predictable and similar to all books by this and other authors. But..it’s free to read. Most books of this caliber have a few spelling errors throughout…but this one was overrun with spelling errors. It’s just frustrating to see such a lack of professionalism in authors and publishers.
  • Good story, but…

…the lack of proofreading is pitifully apparent. No excuse for such sloppiness.
  • SO MANY TYPOS

I stopped reading this book halfway through because of all the typos literally on every single page. It’s so annoying and unacceptable. One or two, I could understand, but this amount was crazy. I don’t know if the print version was better and they just didn’t take the time to proofread and edit the online version, but it’s enough for me to probably avoid this author in the future.
