A keeper!

THE SINGLE DAD PROJECT is the fifth in the incredible Naima Simone’s stellar Rose Bend series. It stands alone well, although it does feel as if each new book outdoes the previous, so readers will surely benefit from reading them all!
Photographer Flo Dennison and single dad and architect Adam Reed have a relatively anonymous but unforgettable one-night stand. When they end up facing each other again as coworkers on a restoration project, they can see that their chemistry has abated not in the slightest.
Naima Simone is a writer of the first class. She creates characters that will make you laugh, cry, cringe, soar with joy… I sometimes have to stop while reading just to catch my breath and to savor how much her words move me. Her creations are so memorable. Flo in particular is smart and articulate. Though she’s been wounded, she’s bold and brave, and when she isn’t, her family and her friends and Adam help give her comfort and strength and support. Adam too bears scars, and it takes time and some determined people who love him to point him in the right direction and to begin healing. And his delightful daughter Justine? What a scene-stealer!
The Single Dad Project is a keeper, and I’ll be rereading it and the rest of the series as I eagerly await more from the talented Ms Simone.
