Jill Shalvis did it again! Another fabulous book! I love her characters and the sense of humor that is in her book. I wanted Ali as my friend. I fell in love with the senior citizen posse. Luke is one heck of a man. As always, Jill left me with a happy contented feeling after having read one of her books. I look forward to more of her books.

The world would be a better place if the characters that Jill Shalvis creates, really existed in the world. The moment I met Ali Winters, I knew I wouldn't be able to put the book down. Her character is so endearingly sweet, creative and humorously flawed that I imagined her being someone I would befriend in real life. It's hard not to love her and harder not to root for her; and with all the blunders she gets herself into, she need a lot of both. The addition of the super hot and hunky hero, Luke and the clever cast of crack ups at the old-folks facility, just cement the draw to want to read on. I am a huge fan of Jill Shalvis' firefighter and veterinary series but this was my first Lucky Harbor novel. If you're new to her work this is a great place to start. But be forewarned, you will want to go back and catch up. I know that is exactly what I will do now that I finished this one. I am officially a Lucky Harbor fan now too!
