After enjoying the opera "Werther", I wanted to know how the story was told by Goethe. An intriguing tale of a man unfit for a world where both passions and reason are required. Werther's devotion to, fixation on, Charlotte is an incurable disease that ultimately drives him to suicide. Did Charlotte return his love. That is the question!
