Description

Before It Ends with Us, it started with Atlas. Colleen Hoover tells fan favorite Atlas’s side of the story and shares what comes next in this long-anticipated sequel to the “glorious and touching” (USA TODAY) #1 New York Times bestseller and major motion picture It Ends with Us.

Lily and her ex-husband, Ryle, have just settled into a civil coparenting rhythm when she suddenly bumps into her first love, Atlas, again. After nearly two years separated, she is elated that for once, time is on their side, and she immediately says yes when Atlas asks her on a date.

But her excitement is quickly hampered by the knowledge that, though they are no longer married, Ryle is still very much a part of her life—and Atlas Corrigan is the one man he will hate being in his ex-wife and daughter’s life.

Switching between the perspectives of Lily and Atlas, It Starts with Us picks up right where the epilogue for the “gripping, pulse-pounding” (Sarah Pekkanen, author of Perfect Neighbors) bestselling phenomenon It Ends with Us left off. Revealing more about Atlas’s past and following Lily as she embraces a second chance at true love while navigating a jealous ex-husband, it proves that “no one delivers an emotional read like Colleen Hoover” (Anna Todd, New York Times bestselling author).

LOVED IT! 🥰 It’s exactly what I needed cause I felt like I wasn’t ready to be done with Atlas & Lily. Atlas was barely in the first book so I wanted to know their story. It definitely delivered. Colleen even says in the prologue the book is meant to be as “easy read”. I still found it dramatic enough & their love story is so much better than her and Ryle’s.

This was a good sequel to the first book. I loved seeing how atlas and lily ended up, but I felt the last couple chapters were rushed.

I was glad to be able to read Atlas and Lilly’s story through but I feel like the plot for this book fell flat for me. There wasn’t much conflict or heart wrenching, plot twists. I feel like the conflict with Atlas and Ryle just fizzled out with the snap of a finger and then towards the end of the book everything was sped up. I did like how she gave us insight into Atlas’s point of view though. Overall it was good but I would not reread again like I would the first book

I enjoyed Atlas and Lily’s story; their letters to one another. However, the story felt rushed from moving in together to the end

Soo me and my friends started this series around the same time. Me and another one of my friends finished around the same time. I absolutely loved this book, I think I love it more than It Ends With Us. Two of my friends didn’t like Atlas, so they didn’t enjoy the book as much as I did. I absolutely love happy endings, and I was drawn into their history from the first time in the first book Atlas got mentioned. #teamAtlas4eva!! I want to find my own Atlas eventually, but saying that I am only 17, I will wait for God’s timing. I want my Atlas, just hopefully under different circumstances. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves spicy romance with baby daddy issues. Not that specific, but you get the point lol.
