It takes awhile to figure this one out. Characters spinning around like gears, and no character coming out in front to be the hero-until the very end. A good read.

This story was okay, but had lots of twists and turns that didn’t quite add up.

Just boring.

Started off slow but then hard to put down

Many plot twists…writing style is very thorough. Had a satisfying end overall pulled everything together nicely.

This book is very hard to put down, but I had to give up just 2/3 of the way through. There are hardly any characters you can like; everyone has been through the mill and is sitting on a pile of hurt, secrets, and venom. Reminds me of Denise Mina’s writing, which I can’t say is a good thing.

Very well written, good characterizations and not obvious in “who did it”. A story of long held grief, love and ultimately, a need for cleansing.

I seem to prefer more intrigue.

Original plot. Loved the characters, especially Laura and Irene.

Kept me entertained and was a fast read! Kind of forgettable though/not mind blowing
