Everything about this book was beautiful but painful at times.

I absolutely love this book! I have read a lot of historical fiction set in World War II but what makes this book so special are the characters. They are so well written that I can easily picture them in my mind, and I truly came to care what happened to each of them. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more books from this author!

Gives a nice insight to London during the bombings!

Although the story was so amazing in bringing to life the life in London during WW2. I found it also gave me a deeper appreciation for what our parents and grandparents went through during the war. The courage they had to find within themselves to face each day. And how thankful I am for freedom that we take for granted. An extremely well written book!

This gem of a book is a page turner and I couldn’t put it down. Enjoy!

Absolutely An Amazing Book!

This book was a good narrative on how people survived the bombing of London. A realistic account with believable characters.

Smart, heart warming, a bit sad too. Great story.

The storyline was amazing! I loved the whole thing from the very beginning!

The descriptions in this work were riveting. I felt as though I were right there alongside Grace as she endured and dare I say, thrived, during the Blitz.
