I have adored every book in the Scandalous Scions series but Degree of Solitude just became my favorite. I am a sucker for scarred and brooding men, Beauty and the Beast being a favorite trope of mine and it was worked into this story so well. Catrin and Daniel’s story secretly began while the rest of the family were finding their loves so we got to go back and have the missing pieces filled in we didn’t even know were missing...similar to Jack and Jenny’s story...but what was different about this book was the murder mystery aspect, which was very entertaining and kept me guessing until the big reveal. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.
