I never tire of this story! I am sure it will continue to be a pleasure to read again and again. It is a lovely story of a very good and patient woman who has, due to the mores of her time, reached her later years alone and without the financial backing of a husband or the support of children of her own, and must depend on the grudging charity of an ungrateful sister. She is an elderly Cinderella, until a wealthy nephew, anxious to meet his late beloved mother’s family, becomes aware of both her innate sweetness and her unappreciative sister. Happy ending for a deserving woman!

I love these heartwarming books!!! They are old fashioned and charming. They take you to a time when manners mattered.
