Great book. Smart, compassionate, perceptive, vulnerable, characters. All of them. A world fully realized, cold, hostile, and demanding, that has become home for one group, leaving its harsh mark on them. Really good book. Thanks.

Stick with it. Some of the initial chapters are confusing and appear out of sequence, go with it! The storyline draws you in, the characters are real and the picture that is painted is amazing. Definitely worth the read.
