Be prepared for the start of a wild start of Caleb and Juliet’s story. The first of a trilogy, the book starts with Juliet Nichols, a woman desperate to secure an executive assistant at the prestigious Sterling Cross. Moments before her anticipated interview, she literally runs into an enigmatic individual. As she is led into the interview, she encounters said individual, who is none other than the elusive Caleb Sterling. Though she begins to admit her feelings for Caleb, a twist at the end throws their budding relationship to a screeching halt. Ms. Sloane lays out just enough to draw a reader into their tale, only to leave us eagerly waiting for the next installment.

As usual, another great book from Roxy. It seems that this book lays some of the ground work for an even more intense second book. Great character chemistry. Love the dominant alphas she always writes about. One thing I’d change is the character perspective. There’s only a couple short Caleb passages so it’s mainly Juliet. Equal POV is definitely my preference. Still an awesome book though. Can’t wait for the next one!
