Leaving a review after my second time to read this book… i know what’s to come and know my true heart lies with the second book… but i thoroughly enjoyed this read a second time.. Tam and the spring court will always have a special place in my heart.

Dark, tense, and way more layered than I expected. At first the writing is a bit awkward, but just let it go because the story telling is incredible! Perfect mix of slow burn to story arc. You can really picture every scene so easily. And the books just get better and better!

This story is so captivating! Loved that it kept me on my toes. Can’t wait to read more of Sarah’s work :)

Loveeed it

This book came so highly recommended. I was very excited to start it and I love fantasy. I found this book boring, predictable and one dimensional. There were no layers to the story. It’s a glorified beauty and the beast. The surface story is the whole story.

Listen, I am not really a person that reads books…. But I absolutely am IN LOVE with this series. I couldn’t put it down. So so so good. Would HIGHLY recommend this.

I could tell already the author wasn’t going to keep this pairing which was kinda a deal breaker for me.

I’m going be honest, the first half of the book was boring to me, but I understand why it was done. And pushing through was worth it! If someone told it it was a loose Beauty and the Beast retelling I would have read it sooner!

And it was worth the week I was consumed by it will definitely read it again
